Early intervention o Atenci\u00f3n temprana, en el Per\u00fa, es un proyecto de formaci\u00f3n te\u00f3rico-pr\u00e1ctica que surge de la necesidad de detectar patolog\u00edas visuales en beb\u00e9s y ni\u00f1os menores de 3 a\u00f1os, para que puedan mejorar su calidad de vida y perspectivas de futuro<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

La detecci\u00f3n temprana se lleva a cabo por un equipo multidisciplinario de expertos en la detecci\u00f3n de patolog\u00edas prematuras visuales, entre otros. El equipo de profesionales est\u00e1 formado por neur\u00f3logos pedi\u00e1tricos, psic\u00f3logos, fisioterapeutas, oftalm\u00f3logos, terapeutas del lenguaje, de alimentaci\u00f3n y logistas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El equipo, durante su estancia a terreno, imparte formaciones a profesionales m\u00e9dicos locales que har\u00e1n de futuros formadores, y a las familias de los beb\u00e9s atendidos, proporcion\u00e1ndolos las herramientas para detectar y tratar a los ni\u00f1os con diversidad funcional. Los cooperantes hacen tambi\u00e9n el seguimiento de los casos y unos diagn\u00f3sticos orientativos de los ni\u00f1os.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Actualmente, el equipo del proyecto Early intervention contin\u00faa impartiendo las formaciones en la detecci\u00f3n temprana en neonatos y prematuros, a trav\u00e9s de cursos presenciales organizados por la orden franciscana del Colegio de Ni\u00f1os Ciegos de Lima, en colaboraci\u00f3n con las universidades del Per\u00fa.
El objetivo final del proyecto es capacitar a especialistas locales para que puedan atender los ni\u00f1os menores de 3 a\u00f1os con diversidad funcional y mejorar su calidad de vida.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
